If you're a West Yorkshire-based SME looking to adopt AI or launch a digital innovation project, this is your moment. Through Digital Enterprise UK, Decodifi is helping businesses unlock up to 40% of digital transformation project costs.
Digital Enterprise is offering two distinct grant opportunities aimed at helping businesses grow through digital innovation.
The Digital Accelerator Grant
The Digital Accelerator Grant empowers businesses to take on impactful digital projects that drive growth. This could be anything from implementing a new CRM to improving customer experience to harnessing advanced analytics for smarter decision-making.
The grant supports projects with a total cost of up to £25,000 and can fund up to 50% of the project’s cost (up to £10,000), with your business contributing the rest.
Digital Accelerator Grant Eligibility
To apply for this grant, the businesses should:
- Be growth-focused
- Be based in one of the five West Yorkshire Local Authorities
- Have a minimum of 3 years trading
- Have a minimum annual turnover of >£100k
- Have a minimum of 5 employees and up to around 100 FTE employees
- Trade predominantly in the Business-to-Business (B2B) environment.
- Should have not received Minimum Financial Assistance (funding from any national or local public sector scheme) in excess of £315,000 over the previous three financial years
The High Impact Grant
The High Impact Grant provides support on projects worth between £25,000-£100,00 and can cover up to 50% of the project costs (with a maximum grant value of £35,000).
This funding is intended for larger, more transformative projects that deliver significant improvements in productivity, innovation, or growth - such as adopting advanced technologies or overhauling the core digital infrastructure of the business.
While both grants aim to boost digital capabilities, the key difference lies in the scale and ambition of the projects they support. Businesses can choose the grant that best aligns with their digital goals and growth strategy.
The High Impact Grant Eligibility
To receive the High Impact Grant, applicants are required to provide a more detailed justification of the project and demonstrate how it will deliver meaningful transformation for the business.
Due to the level of funding involved, the High Impact Grant is subject to stricter procurement requirements in line with Public Procurement Regulations. More information can be found here.
Why Now?
Many entrepreneurs are eager to harness the power of AI and digital tools, but often lack the expertise or resources needed to implement it effectively.
Although its potential to enhance competitiveness is widely acknowledged, a large number - especially within small and medium-sized enterprises struggle with knowing where to begin and how to manage the complexities involved in adopting AI, something a digital grant can be used to bolster.
According to Lloyds Bank’s 2025 Business Barometer, UK companies embracing AI are seeing real, measurable benefits:
- 82% report improved productivity
- 76% report improved profitability
- 56% plan to increase AI investment this year
- 40% larger average investment deals for AI-focused startups compared to others (British Business Bank)
AI is now a well-established driver of efficiency, profitability, and long-term business growth. As adoption accelerates across the UK, businesses that delay risk falling behind in their digital technologies. Through the grant scheme, you can integrate AI into your operations with up to 40% of your digital project costs funded.
